What We Do

Architecture
without
compromise.

Each commission is approached as a complete design proposition — from first principles, carried through construction, and held to the same standard at every phase. The practice does not separate thinking from building.

Concept Design

Before a single line is drawn, the studio listens. This phase is a careful study of the site, the brief, and the people the work will be for. What emerges is not a style or a formula — but a design proposition rooted in the specific conditions of each commission.

Scope Includes
Site analysis and programme review
Concept diagrams and spatial studies
Massing and form explorations
Preliminary material palette
Client presentation

Schematic & Design Development

The concept is tested, refined, and developed into resolved architecture. Floor plans, sections, elevations, and three-dimensional studies are worked until the design holds under scrutiny. Structural and services engineers are coordinated from this stage — design quality and technical rigour are never separated.

Scope Includes
Architectural drawings at 1:100
3D renderings and models
Structural and services co-ordination
Preliminary specification
Cost estimate

Construction Documentation

Precision is a form of care. The full construction document set — coordinated across all disciplines and checked for buildability — prepares the project for contractor tendering and permit submission. Every drawing that leaves the studio is a commitment to what will be built.

Scope Includes
Full architectural drawing set
Specifications and schedules
Permit application drawings
Tender package preparation
Bill of quantities (with QS)

Construction Administration

Architecture is not finished at the drawing. The studio remains present on site — reviewing shop drawings, visiting at critical stages, responding to queries, and holding the standard of the design intent through to practical completion. This engagement is not peripheral. It is where architecture is finally made.

Scope Includes
Regular site inspections
Shop drawing review
Variation and RFI management
Defects review at practical completion
As-built documentation

Interior Architecture

The interior is architecture at close range. For commissions that include interiors, the studio designs the full environment: joinery, material finishes, furniture placement, lighting, and the selection of objects. The work is coherent from the structural frame to the smallest surface.

Scope Includes
Interior concept and mood boards
Joinery and millwork drawings
Finishes and fixtures schedule
Furniture and lighting specification
Art and object curation

Urban & Landscape Design

The space beyond the building edge is part of the design proposition, not a leftover. The studio offers landscape and urban design services to ensure courtyards, gardens, plazas, and streets receive the same considered attention as the architecture itself.

Scope Includes
Landscape concept design
Planting strategy and species selection
Hard landscape detailing
Lighting design
Urban design and masterplanning

Studio Approach

“We do not impose a pre-formed aesthetic. The design emerges from the specific conditions of each place, brief, and client.”

Every project begins with careful listening and thorough site analysis before a single design decision is made. The studio does not work from a signature style — it works from principles.

We collaborate with a close network of structural engineers, landscape architects, lighting designers, and specialist contractors, assembling the right team for each commission. Fees are commensurate with scope and complexity, and we discuss them openly.
