Carmela Dela Cruz is a licensed Filipino architect, now based in London, with a practice spanning residential, hospitality, mixed-use, commercial, and interior design. She has accumulated over eight years of project experience from her own independent practice through to senior roles at leading Philippine and international firms.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Bulacan State University and passed the PRC Licensure Examination for Architects in 2018. Early training in Autodesk Revit positioned her to lead BIM-driven project delivery, including a 3D scanning and Revit as-built modelling scope for the Meralco Theater renovation in Pasig City.
At Casas + Architects Inc., Carmela rose to Project Architect II and Executive Assistant to the Director, holding lead architect responsibility on significant commissions including the WeeComm Centre, Four Points Mactan by Sheraton, and hospitality developments on Siargao Island. She subsequently joined Arcadis Philippines as Architect II, contributing to interior design and infrastructure work across international project teams.
Alongside her employment, she has maintained an independent practice, CDC Architects, taking private commissions ranging from high-end residences to commercial offices and condominium interiors. This parallel track reflects a sustained commitment to design authorship, technical precision, and direct client collaboration.
